Warning when installing mods!

Your game WILL crash if you mod your car by installing car modifications like spoilers and such. Bikes, planes, helicopters, boats and trains are not causing problems because you can't modify them.

You can mod cars like the Infernus, the Turismo etc. but don't mod the Elegy, Sultan etc. because people in MTA tend to modify those cars alot and if you drive past them your game will crash (if you find a mod which supports ALL tuning parts this will not be the cause though!).
This is because the new models (DFF File) and the new textures (TXD File) don't support mods, they cause bugs and crash your game if you install them. So don't modify cars you can tune in tuning garages or face the consequences!
Also, if you want to install sound mods, be careful! It can EASILY screw up your whole game so you will have to reinstall it, no matter if you do everything correctly or not. In case everything works correctly, be prepared for annoying sound bugs you experience very often in the game, for example when reloading. So, it is recommended to not install sound mods, but it's always worth a try. TIP: Backup the audiofiles before installing ANY sound mods so you can replace the modded, failed ones with them. This does NOT ALWAYS work however!

NOTE: I personally recommend you to install small mods only, and only less ones of those. They will not affect your gaming experience in any way and will never cause crashes. For example, all I am using is a new sniper crosshair because the original one is very imprecise. A few texture mods changing the car's headlights and removing the dirt of it are also making the game look way cooler while those are just very small changes.
